Parasailing Tourists Crash into Power Lines in Front of Beachgoers
Beachgoers screamed in horror as a parasailing couple crashed into power lines - sending sparks flying - in an adventure that went horribly wrong at a tourist resort. After hitting the cables, the pair are still attached to their harness as they spin uncontrollably. The man is seen dangling as they crash land on the beach, smashing into umbrellas, and sunbathers run to their aid. Police are now hunting a man - who calls himself "Alex Batman" who offered the £52 joyride and fled after the couple were badly injured, it was reported. The man is fighting for his life after suffering electric shocks and multiple broken bones following the incident at the Dzhubga resort in Russia. His 21-year-old girlfriend suffered electric shocks and severe scratches in the Black Sea nightmare. The holidaymakers were being pulled by a speedboat when they flew over the beach instead of the sea, crashing into the power cables. |

Re: Parasailing Tourists Crash into Power Lines in Front of Beachgoers
(sound of Cajun laughter) "Yeah, honey, you got some scratches on your back when you two sailed into the high-voltage lines, slammed into a building, and crashed to the ground. A few bandages and you'll be good as new tomorrow. Oh, but no more parasailing for a couple of days, OK?" I knew an Alex Batman long ago, but he died 20 years ago now. For those unfamiliar with the more obscure aspects of Engish, a 'batman' was an English army officer's personal attendant, usually an enlisted man or noncom. |
