Overtaking Car Hits Oncoming Car Head-on
In the Oktyabrsky district, traffic police are investigating the circumstances of an accident that occurred on the Kazan-Orenburg-Akbulak-Kazakh border federal highway, near the village of Maryevka. Three people are in the hospital. Police have released video footage of the accident. According to available information, a VAZ-2112 and a Skoda Rapid collided on the evening of August 19. Video footage shows that the VAZ was attempting to overtake, and at the same time, the Skoda was speeding in its lane toward the oncoming car.
