That's both the fault of the driver and road maintenance workers, in the UK the Highways Agency would have ensured this accident was not possible as there are no 'ends' to barriers on motorways, you can only push them in towards the roadworks and the crashing car will carry on forward! That was a 30g+ impact, possible major trauma or death would be realistic for such a violent event x

He'll be able to sue the city for that one; no barricades, no warning lights, the lane was not marked off either. That's, of course, if he survived. If he didn't, well... hmm. |
