One Killed when Large Group of Bikers Hit a Chevrolet Corsa
Argentina, A massive group consisting of 100 to 300 motorcyclists was driving through the southern area of the city. According to local reports and security camera footage, several motorcycles crossed over into the opposing lane while driving against traffic. One of the motorcyclists swerved out of the lane and collided with a Chevrolet Corsa traveling in the opposite direction. The 24 year old driver lost control of the car and slammed into several other bikers. The impact threw 18 years old Franco A.M. from his motorcycle, causing serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died hours later. Tensions escalated when the victim's colleagues, furious, attacked the motorist, accusing him of crossing lanes, although a video showed that this maneuver did not occur and that the motorcycles were traveling in the wrong direction. The driver was notified of the crime of manslaughter and also received infractions for driving without a green card, license or insurance. |

Re: One Killed when Large Group of Bikers Hit a Chevrolet Corsa
Guilty until proven innocent... In most western judicial systems (that I'm aware of), LEO and/or prosecutors will try and charge you with the most severe infraction for what happened to you, and then drop the corresponding charges as the investigation progresses. I think this is done to secure prosecution in case the infraction is severe, it's easier to drop charges than to add them to an existing case |

Read the book "Hit and Run" about Ralph Nader and the Corvair. It's the other side of that story. |
