driver died and his passenger and the cop were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

I'm curious how the car ended up sliding sideways across the road. I couldn't see anything happening out of the ordinary in the opposite lane prior to seeing the skidding car.

I was wondering he same thing. There is a curve in the road, maybe they took the turn with too much speed and lost traction.  |
