One Dead in Two Vehicle Early Morning Crash.
Around 6.30 am this morning two vehicles were involved in a road accident. One was a ford cargo truck, the other a small van. Police think the reason for the crash was the small van driver's view being obfuscated by the sun. The surviving driver of the Ford cargo truck said the small van suddenly came driving into him, and he tried to swerve to the hard shoulder but it was too late. The driver of the small van died at the scene. He was 47 years old.

I drove one of those Jap box trucks, the kind with no front end, once and only once. It was as if the bumper was your foot rest. Suicide. I'll take my 18 wheeler, thank you.  |
