U.S.A, A motorist was on his way home from school when he crossed the intersection and saw a van coming but he thought the old lady was going to make a right turn.

As soon as she crossed the white line he realized she's not going to stop. He hit the brakes and turned the steering wheel trying to avoid her and instinctively honked his horn.

The next thing he saw was how her car was sliding into the median divider. Withing 20 seconds the police arrived and talked to her.

He made his way to the van where the police were. The officer asked " can you tell me what happened ? ".

She said she had a green light and it was all his fault running a redlight so the man pulled the officer to the side and told him he captured the crash on his dashcam. As soon the officer watched the video he started to write her tickets instead of him.

The light was yellow-turning-red when he already passed the crosswalk. She either tried to LIE to the officer or she truly believed a red light was green

It was green, not obvious but if you pause the video you can tell.

And this is why once you hit 65, your license should be revoked automatically unless you take a yearly test. Of course, this won't stop someone with perfectly good sight being an asshole.
