Oil Driller Is Struck and Pinned by Hydraulic Unit
At an oil rig in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia, an oil driller, born in 1983, was struck and pinned by a hydraulic unit. He was taken to hospital, where an eye had to be removed - however, he is reported as being stable and conscious. A criminal case has been commenced.

Fuck.  He couldn’t have been standing in a better/worseplace. That thing blasted him right out of nowhere… one second calm and the next BLAM!!!  I do see the swinging thing to his left just hanging there before it turns into a sledge hammer.  |

The ambulance took the 42-year-old assistant driller to the Nizhnevartovsk district hospital. Doctors diagnosed an open craniocerebral injury. The patient is currently in serious condition and has been put into a medically induced coma.Close up and slow mo.  |
