Norway - Out Of Control Taxi In Bergen
"A taxi collided in two different places on a wild drive through the center of Bergen on the night of Saturday. The driver has been taken to hospital and has been charged with negligent driving. - The speed was so great that when he drove past the Blue Stone and hit the stones towards the next plateau towards Torgallmenningen, it flew up into the air and landed towards the Narvesen kiosk, says operations manager Frode Kolltveit in the West police district to BT. The taxi must have arrived driving from Torggaten in Bergen around 04.40 on the night of Saturday. First, the taxi collided with the Lille pub in Vaskerelven. It then drove on at high speed towards Torgallmenningen and crashed into a Narvesen kiosk, according to the police."

It was last night so Friday. Bars and the nightlife in Norway ends at like 1-2AM (By law.). My guess is some after-party in an apartment. The people are smoking, so they probably heard the noise before it was in front of them, and started recording. Either way its odd.

He WASN'T drunk! He was just a slow reader, and hadn't finished the sign for his road turn at "Larspellungentaktfriedgunstartus" before he got to the sign for "Pullingshamshaftertorgotten" and before he could even spit out a plethora of verbs, vowels, and consonants, the road fork was upon him, and he was screwed! This happens a LOT in the Nordic countries!  If you are going to visit there, remember to read quickly, and drive slowly! |
