SANTA FE, NM -- Winter weather wreaked havoc along roads around Santa Fe, New Mexico Tuesday morning Dec 9.
Dozens of crashes were reported, including one that was caught on tape by reporter Gadi Schwartz of NBC affiliate KOB.
The car skidded out of control and missed Schwartz by feet.
Luckily, the driver was able to walk away from the crash unharmed.
"I just tried to stay on the brake which is a mistake and it wouldn't stop and to avoid killing you guys and this line of cars," said driver Dolores Mcelroy.
Another news crew also ended up with a totaled SUV after a driver plowed into their unit, which was parked on the shoulder of the highway.
Miraculously, county emergency crews say despite the 27 accidents, no serious injuries were reported.
