Canada, During a public street drag racing practice session, a dark Ford Mustang lined up next to a white car and after acceleration began, the Mustang suddenly veered hard to the right, smashed directly into the guardrail, flipped over the safety barrier and rolled multiple times into a field.

A 37-year-old male passenger from the nearby Saint-Hyacinthe area was cut from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver, a 44-year-old man, also from the Saint-Hyacinthe region is in serious condition in the Hospital after firefighters used hydraulic extrication tools to get him out.
