Motorist Talking on the Phone Rams Man and Woman Sitting in Chairs at Sidewalk
Two Venezuelan migrants were run over in Ecuador by a car that was traveling at high speed. Video shows three people, two were of Venezuelan nationality, who were engaged in informal work in that area. The man and woman were sitting on a plastic chair on an island in the sidewalk, when suddenly a speeding vehicle directly rammed the two Venezuelans. Both were dragged several meters, while the other person also suffered injuries. The two migrants are in serious health condition. According to witnesses, the driver of the car was talking on the phone. |
