Motorist Lost Control of His Car, Slams into a Pole
Brazil, A 23 year old motorist lost control of his vehicle in a road bend, hit the sidewalk and slammed into a pole. He was found unconscious. The man had several bruises and fractures and was transported to the Regional Hospital in serious condition. Thanks Etsu for the second pic    |

Those poles look really mean.....not like breakaway poles in the U.S. In the slo-mo version, you can see his head hit the pole as the car is swinging around. Pretty brutal. But he was going really fast for such a small and crowded street. |

yeah that is custom steel not off the shelf w shape & SOLID foundation. He hit that and it moved maybe 2-3 inches.
