A motorcycle driving along the national highway in Foshan City in south China's Guangdong Province was struck from behind by a truck traveling in the same lane. As the female motorcyclist crashed to the road, friction sparks ignited fuel seeping from the damaged motorcycle's fuel tank, engulfing bike and rider. In no time, the motorcyclist's clothes were in flames. The injured rider struggled and managed to drag herself to a roadside bush. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment to her burns.
