Mother and Son Killed After Their Speeding Car Rear-ends a Truck
A mother and son were killed in India yesterday morning after their speeding car rammed a truck near a toll plaza. The son along with his friend came to Delhi airport in a car to pick his mother up returning from Canada. The fatal accident took place while they were returning from the airport. In the video, the truck can be seen parked in the middle of the road where the speeding car rammed it. The slight fog contributed to the accident. The driver tried to swerve the car to the left but it was too late. Following the accident, the front of the car was totally desecrated. It took a few minutes for the truck driver to escape the scene. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Manvir (28) and his mother Bhagwant (52) and were residents of Mullampur in Punjab. The injured has been identified as Rajput, resident of Shivpuri. The accident occurred at around 7:30 in the morning. According to a Bhaskar report, the truck driver is absconding and the police has filed a case.   |
