Mother and Daughter on Crosswalk Hit by Car Going 70 Kmph
the driver of the white car that has 3 years of drivers experience told he was going 70 where 60 kmph is allowed and the line of cars waiting blocked his view so he spotted the two women running on the crosswalk too late. One of the women had a broken arm and the other a broken leg and a concussion. |

That´s why you are supposed to slow down to be prepared to stop if you approach a crosswalk.

crosswalk signs may not save you from that but it could make the driver surely pay you for everything you need to recover.
