Shanghai. Eventually the police spotted the little girl crying down the road where she told she lives in a village further down the road and her mother forgot her at an intersection after she climbed from the motorcycle. The police brought her to that village but no one knew the little girl but the girl's mother arrived soon after that and the two were reunited.
The police recommended her to use a safety seat next time.

Call me culturally or socially ignorant, but there are so many videos, from several countries, where a child shows to be in obvious distress (whether being attacked, or ran over, or simply wandering alone way too young) and the surrounding society gives absolutely no shits whatsoever. Are they taught by their schools or government at a young age to make damn sure they don't give a flying fuck about their fellow man when they grow up? Call me a hippie or overly compassionate, but it's absolutely asinine to me to witness the extent of uncaring behavior displayed, not by murderers, or thugs, or military, but the vast majority of everyday people. Granted you see this on many occasions in all countries, but there are just some areas whose majority of citizens are so disconnected it's fucking baffling.

It's not baffling at all when you consider:

- Litigious society that means you can be sued for doing the right thing.
- There are billions of Asiatics; it's not like they're an endangered species, so nobody needs to give a damn.

not too hard to understand that in a lot of countries police dont give a fuck youre done on sight. or other people will implement street justice for stealing a potato let alone if you were to try and help a kid and they mistake it for a kid napping or you being a fucking weirdo.

Remember, China has one of the most unique cultures on the entire planet. China is the place where dead babies can be seen in the gutters and on the curbs of busy streets and where countless pedestrians and motorists notice but just continue to walk on by, as if it were a dead dog or roadkill.

Very happy to see that the kid survived this, however. She's very very lucky
