Minivan Crashes Into Brunch Restaurant, Injuring 13
Hualien City, Taiwan A car accident occurred at a brunch restaurant around 10:25 a.m. on May 18. The driver of a black minivan crashed into the restaurant for unclear reasons, shattering glass and causing chaos. At the time, many customers were dining inside when the vehicle suddenly ploughed in, injuring 13 people, including the driver. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. Preliminary police investigation indicates that the 47-year-old driver, surnamed Su, was driving north and failed to stop at a red light at an intersection. Suspected of losing control, he crashed into the brunch restaurant, injuring himself, nine customers (two with fractures), and three staff members. None of the 13 injuries were life-threatening. |

that happened so fast, i genuinely jumped. i blinked and it was just fuckin' BOOM - black car, shattered glass. can't imagine how all of the customers felt, but i wouldn't be surprised if at least one person shat or pissed themselves  |
