Re: Man Swallowed by Sidewalk
The distance between Tucson and Manaus is 4,128 miles (about 6,600km). That's a LONG way for your turd to travel. It must have been launched with a high velocity. (I hope the launcher wasn't damaged). Assuming your turd followed a parabolic trajectory, travelling that distance would qualify it as (at least) an intermediate range ballistic missile. The velocity of such a projectile during the terminal phase would be about 7km per second. The average human shit is about 150g, and travelling at 7km per second that would give it the energy of (roughly) 1kg of TNT. More if you had eaten a curry recently. On impact (bypassing the obvious constipation joke) that would leave a crater 2-3ft across, assuming your stool was solid enough (which it must have been if you can recognize it in Brazil). More than enough to break things that would lead to damaged pipes. But, I have to say, I am doubtful that you correctly identified one of your own in Brazil. Let's just say that shit doesn't fly! |
