Re: Man Seriously Injured in Electric Bike Accident
That was an amazing endo flip, which appears to have been induced by a suddenly locked up front wheel at a high speed + a forward leaning rider which prevented the front wheel from skidding. These forces caused the bike and rider to launch up in the air and rotate clockwise. The first pic shows the front wheel as the bike is being launched up out of the video frame. Between the first and third still pic, the bike did a complete 360-degree aerial flip and lands back in the video frame on both wheels. Amazing! Either there was a mechanical failure locking his front wheel, or the rider grabbed onto his front brakes very, very hard. · · · |
