CAPE TOWN - The manager of a Cape Town actor who died in a car crash on the N2 near Langa says he's heartbroken as the local film industry has lost a talented man.

It’s believed Thabang Sidloyi (27) was a passenger in the BMW which smashed into the barrier on the N2 highway on Friday.

It’s still not clear what exactly caused the crash but footage of the accident is doing the rounds on social media.

In the video, you can see a silver BMW careening across several lanes and smashing into a concrete barrier.

The passenger in the vehicle is then flung from the car before landing on the road.

The vehicle then bursts into flames.
