Man Dies when Couple Runs Across the Road to Sneak into Bus Station
A man died in Bogota, Colombia whilst trying to sneak into a bus station without paying for the 1,800 pesos ticket (72 cents). He (30) and his wife (28) looking at the stations door going open and run towards them by crossing the road, without realizing there is a speeding bus coming from the left. According to police reports, he pushed his wife out of the way in a split second decision.She was brought to the hospital suffering a broken leg and a head wound. Some say she carried a baby while others told it was a package but police couldn't confirm both versions. A bus Terminal spokesman told this is the 8th death so far of the 25,000 people that use the bus terminal on a daily base. |

Harsh way to learn a lesson, but thats what you get for being a cheapskate. Unnecessary risk over 72¢ Makes me think of those Nigerians who burned to death trying to collect free gas after a tanker crashed on the road. |
