Man Dies After Slipping Through a Railing and into a Bus Path
A man still unidentified died in the early hours of Saturday (2/3) hit by a bus from the Anhanguera Hub. The accident happened at the station of Rua 7, in the Center of Goiânia. According to the Civil Police, the bus continued along Avenida Anhanguera, towards Avenida Goiás / Araguaia. Shortly after passing the station, the driver looked in the rearview mirror and noticed a person falling into the space between the platform and the bus. Images of a security camera show that the victim was walking to the exit of the bus stop when he slipped. A part of his body eventually fell off the platform the moment a bus was passing. The man was hit in the area of the head and died on the spot. The driver of the bus underwent a breathalyzer test, which showed no alcohol in the blood. The body of the victim was in the care of the Medical Legal Institute (IML). The case will be investigated by the Traffic Crime Investigations Department. |

Reminds me of that video where you the guy falls because he hit a little sign that was on the platform he was walking, lost his balance and at that second a train appeared. Not. Good. Or that lady, well 2, who just lost their balance walking on the sidewalk and got their necks lodged between the fence thing. Freak accidents for sure. This is why I am careful when I’m walking near vehicles, or an area where I expect moving vehicles. I am clumsy AF! I don’t want to go out because of that! No thank you!  |
