At 6:04 PM, May 29. Fire engine 31 witnessed a major vehicle accident at Katayama Dr and Alvarado Niles Rd in Union City, Ca. The Initial report was four vehicles involved with significant damage with a sheared hydrant and downed power pole. Engine 31 immediately extricated the one patient who was trapped and secured the four cars.

E33 and Batt 7 responded with three ambulances and a medic Supervisor along with assistance from UCPD.

All of the injured patients were transported to the hospital, and the sheared hydrant was secured.
