Where I found this clip it says that they thought the car bomb had fully detonated. Obviously not.

Our tax dollars there hard at work..One of the weakest spots is the underbelly of the Abrams M1A1 or A2 models..Most tanks have the same weakspot or better known as sweetspot..The crew would most likely not have been killed but the sound inside the tank would have been loud, even with their ear protection on..

Pretty stupid use of a $4,300,000 piece of equipment though..
