Lorry Kills Two Schoolgirls in Bandar Damai Perdana, Malaysia, January 14, 2016
Two 13-year-old schoolgirls were killed when a runaway tipper lorry struck a van outside a secondary school in Bandar Damai Perdana, Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia, on January 14, 2016. The van crushed pupils standing outside the school. The lorry also hit parked motorcycles and cars. A woman hawker was reported injured. The crash occurred in the early afternoon as the yellow lorry came down the school access road. The driver, an Indonesian man, was remanded for seven days. Update: The driver has been detained for questioning on taking this vehicle off from the designated area and the company he's in also involved to answer for the loss of lives, driving contruction designated vehicles to general public areas is a serious offence, moreover involving human life. This guy is in serious trouble now ! |
