Logging Truck Accident
Last Monday, March 4, at about 14.00, a serious accident occurred on the Daugavpils highway (Jekabpils region) in Latvia after the load fell from a passing timber truck onto the road, into which a tanker truck driving in the oncoming lane crashed. The State Police reported that no one was injured as a result of the road incident.

Re: Logging Truck Accident
All that was missing was a dump truck full of kittens. Or a bus-load of nuns and orphans on their way home from picking out their new pets at the local ASPCA. Crippled orphans. And Crippled nuns. And Crippled kittens. And Crippled puppies. OH, the horror!!!! And then someone hitting a POLE. (As in an Eastern European, dressed in native costume, and carrying his accordian, probably ALSO coming back from a visit to the local ASPCA, or local nun's elder home, to pick up a crippled puppy or kitten, or a crippled nun, or possibly one of EACH!) |

Re: Logging Truck Accident
I want to know why all those people were driving around with multiple gasoline containers hooked up to detonators in their vehicles. Seems nearly as dangerous as flying on a 737 Max. Except that if there's a nun on a pole any video will immediately get at least an R rating. If there's a puppy on a nun then any video will be downright illegal. |

Re: Logging Truck Accident
The truck driver will probably have to record this incident in his log.
