Lawyer in BMW Crushed to Death After Truck Loaded with Coal Ash Topples on Him
On Friday afternoon at the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway. B.S.R, a 50-year-old prominent High Court lawyer and a well-known figure was behind the wheel of his red BMW as he was heading home to Hyderabad after spending the morning in Amaravati participating in the Bar Council elections. As he approached the Toll Plaza around 4:15 PM, a truck loaded with coal ash and driven by 32-year-old M.R, was coming from the opposite direction and when the truck driver attempted to navigate a curve near the median he encountered brake failure. The truck clipped the concrete median and overturned onto B.S.R’s BMW. The car was crushed instantly. Passersby and toll workers rushed toward the wreckage, but the car was pinned beneath. It took hours for rescue teams to lift the truck. Emergency responders confirmed that the BMW driver had died instantly upon impact. |

Life is strange. You never know what’s coming or when, ever. Anything can happen to anyone at anytime. Glad it’s not me under there.  Reminds me of an old video I watched on LiveLeak some years ago. A large cement mixer was driving across an intersection when it gets cut off by a scooter. The driver of the cement truck tries to swerve which makes his mixer fall directly on the cabin. It crushes everyone in seconds. One of the most gnarly accidents I’ve ever seen..  |
