Late Gangster-turned-politician's Son and His Friend Killed in Crash
India, Dashcam video shows the deadly crash involving Aban A, the youngest son of the late gangster-turned-politician Atiq A. The 21-year-old Aban and four other occupants were travelling in a white Hyundai Creta ahead when their vehicle suddenly lost control. The SUV then veered sharply and crashed into a concrete barrier before flipping over on the National Highway. Aban and his friend Sonu, 25, died in the crash. Three other occupants of the car -- Azam, Mohammad J, and Umar were injured and taken to a hospital. Aban was on his way to visit his brother, Ali Ahmed, in Jhansi Jail. |

Didn't even brake, but I'm not sure I'd call that a 'sharp' veer so much. I'll take that bet, as it's fair to venture that ALL FIVE in the car were on their idiot box, but also put $10 on suicide.

It looks like someone is flying out of a window at this point. That probably wouldn't be the driver since they're typically on the right in India. That cut/jump in the footage is weird. I wonder what we missed & if/why it was edited.  · |
