Joyride Ends In Hospital

On Monday night (18) , an impressive scene was recorded on the Rio – Niterói Bridge : a man was filmed being dragged by a truck while holding on to the lower rear part of the vehicle. The video shows the man with damaged clothes and shoes , the result of friction with the asphalt. So far, the circumstances of the incident and the victim's health condition have not been officially released. The incident occurred during a period of heavy traffic on the bridge. According to reports, the man remained holding onto the rear structure of the truck while the vehicle continued to move. The images show the seriousness of the situation.

The Ecoponte concessionaire , responsible for managing the road, reported that it identified the incident through its monitoring teams and immediately activated the necessary resources to ensure everyone's safety. After being removed from the road, the man was taken to the toll plaza, where he received initial medical attention. He was then sent to the Jurujuba Psychiatric Hospital in Niterói for a full medical evaluation and specialized monitoring. No information was released about the victim's identity or his health condition.
