27.12.2023 - A group of motorcyclists who were filmed riding dangerously and fast on the East Coast Highway (LPT 1), Pahang recently attracted the attention of netizens. In a 29-second video that went viral since Wednesday, it shows a 'superman' stunt performed by the rider before one of them fell and crashed on the highway. Another motorcyclist then tried to avoid hitting the fallen victim but failed to control the vehicle before also falling on the road. According to a statement from the Department of Investigation and Traffic Enforcement (JSPT) Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur, it received the footage after it was widely shared on media sites.

"Reviewing the video recorded by one of the riders involved, the incident occurred near the Temerloh Rest and Recreation stop on LPT 1. The police have instructed the Pahang Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department to track down and conduct an investigation against the motorcyclist," said the statement on Wednesday.

The police urged those involved to come to the nearest police station to assist in the investigation since the registration number of the motorcycle involved has been identified.
