I think this is what happened: See the ped with the umbrella walking into the intersection just before the crash. Based on the speed of the bicyclist, I think he was intending to lean hard left into a tight turn and get ahead the bus. But the ped stepped in the path of his turn, too late to brake, so the bicyclist swerved around the ped into the bus. |
