Re: Husband Sets His Wife on Fire at a Gas Station
It looks like this guy tried sparking the lighter two times close to the tank opening before it finally flashed the third time. I think it was intentional whether it was a stupid fucking scare joke or an attempt to hurt her, he meant to spark the lighter next to the tank opening.

Re: Husband Sets His Wife on Fire at a Gas Station
A man was arrested on Saturday after his wife caught fire at a gas station in Clarkesville. FOX 5 News first obtained the surveillance footage that captures the terrifying moments. Police said 37-year-old Austin Dawkins held up a cigarette lighter too close to the gas pump as he was filling up his truck at a Gulf Food Mart on Grant Street. After flames erupted from the gas tank, Dawkins is seen pulling the flaming nozzle from the truck. The spewing stream of fire is seen splashing on to and eventually engulfing Dawkins' 30-year-old wife Jessica. Jessica Dawkins was rushed to the hospital. She sustained critical injuries, including second-degree burns to her arms, legs, back and head. Austin Dawkins also sustained minor injuries to his hands. After examining the video, the state insurance commissioner and fire investigators issued a warrant for Dawkins' arrest, citing reckless conduct. He was arrested for the incident on Saturday and booked in the Habersham County Jail |

Re: Husband Sets His Wife on Fire at a Gas Station
that was stupid. The tank was on fire nothing he can do about it. why didn't he just grabbed his wife away from the vicinity and warned everyone else around? Why did he decided to pull out the flaming pump nozzle?

Re: Husband Sets His Wife on Fire at a Gas Station
I think most folks would be shocked how often this sort of thing happens. Usually it's from static electricity and portable gas cans, but you'd be stunned how many people (even employees) I've seen smoking around gas pumps at gas stations...people just seem to forget the connection between open flames and death while pumping gas.

Re: Husband Sets His Wife on Fire at a Gas Station
Not only does he light his car on fire, he also tries to remedy the situation by pulling out the still pumping gas nozzle and pointing it at his wife, spewing the liquid gasoline all over her and setting her on fire. It's almost like he wanted to kill her intentionally... |
