You have to understand that, to us they are driving on the wrong side of the road, but you have to factor in the reality that they are upside down from us here in the states. So they are actually driving on the correct side of the road as viewed from the U.S.
Also, the International Date Line has an effect as well. I think that's a semi-scientific fact. Either that or something else. I'm not sure.

It has to do with it being a former colony of England. Most of the former English colonies are left hand drive and some of the Asian countries like Japan just picked a side and I don't know why...
