Re: Hong Kong Truck Worker Causally Dropping Off From His Truck
When I was in high school there was this girl I liked. I was with 3 friends and riding in the back of a pickup truck standing against the cab. I told my friend who was driving let’s drive by homegirl’s house. (Kids crush kinda thing) he hit the corner pretty fast and I got tossed out of the back, hit a big rock in the street with my head and landed right in front of her house. Police, fire, ambulance and everything while she and her family watched me get loaded and driven away to the hospital. |

Re: Hong Kong Truck Worker Causally Dropping Off From His Truck
When I was in my teens or early twenties, I was getting ready to head down to the Outer Banks for some fun with several friends. We were taking one of the guys' old truck & we packed a bunch of stuff in the back & a few people were going to ride back there. There was this one drug-addled hanger-on guy who kept pleading with us to let him go but we didn't really want him to go because he was drug-addled. When we were getting ready to take off, we realized that the tailgate would stay latched so some told Dave that he could come on the condition that he held the tailgate shut for the duration of the ride. Some or all of us had dropped acid & we proceeded to take off with Dave taking the required position. We had gotten about halfway down there & had to turn from a 2 lane road onto a 4 lane divided highway. The highway was curved at the intersection & the lanes were slanted to accommodate the curve but the median crossing was level, making for a bumpy crossing. It had gotten dark & I was tripping balls when someone in the back yelled that Dave had fallen out. We made a u-turn & when we got back to the intersection, Dave was lying there in the headlights. I was the first person to get to him & the lights & shadows (& the acid) made it look like part of his head was missing. It turned out that he had just split his head open & had blood streaming down his face. We got him in the truck & pulled into the 7 Eleven that was next to the intersection & asked the clerk to call an ambulance & got some napkins to stem the bleeding. We were in a rural area so the ambulance was manned by several good ol' boys who were volunteers. Dave refused treatment & they started cussing about some drunk who couldn't even stay in the back of the truck. We got back in the truck & continued the trip. I imagine that Dave was even more addled after that experience. |
