73-year-old woman Chong holding an umbrella mistakenly walked onto the highway/took the wrong way. She signalled motorists as a warning she was there. She sustained injuries to her hands, feet, pelvis and buttocks. Paramedics confirmed she was conscious when rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital. The 28-year-old driver, Ng, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm and remains in custody.  |
