Re: Hong Kong Female Biker Wearing Shorts
Nothing like wearing shorts and t-shirts for riding. Excellent when you want to pick up a nice case of road rash. You can slide in leathers for around 1500 feet. You get around 15 feet in jeans and start losing skin immediately in shorts. Do you think she learned anything!?! |

Re: Hong Kong Female Biker Wearing Shorts
When I was a kid, I had an old-school 'big red' super-grip skateboard, just about wide enough to sit on with my skinny 10yo ass. As I lived in Portland, I went up to the 'top' of Mt. Tabor mid-city, and sat on the board to run all the way down the access road like that. Somewhere around 40-50mph (certainly less than a few hundred yards' travel) I naturally fell off, and was wearing shorts, so I cheese-gratered my thigh well through all dermal layers as I 'ground' go a halt. Someone got me to the hospital pretty fast. Had to use all sorts of cool painful ointments and such to prevent massive infection, shower with my leg in a bag for a few months, etc. Miraculously there is no scarring at all now, but the injury went almost knee-to-hip. Respect road rash, or it will bring you up (or rather down) to speed.
