The driver must have had some kind of medical issue. At first I thought there wasn’t anyone behind the wheel but he’s there alright. Just not present while doing so.  |

The bus was traveling along Castle Peak Road and should have turned right at the intersection with Fanjin Road; however, the bus did not turn and instead crashed straight into the flower bed embankment, with half of the bus scrambling onto the sidewalk, damaging the flower bed sprinkler system, and narrowly missing the expansion site of the North District Hospital. There were a few passengers on the bus, but fortunately no one was injured in the incident. KMB has immediately suspended the driver from his duties and will investigate the cause of the accident. |
