High winds tore the roof off a council training centre in Shropshire at 4.30pm on Wednesday 12 January.
The roof was flung into the nearby car park, where it landed damaging four vehicles.
The footage was released by the care home firm Springcare, the head offices of which are situated near to the training centre which fell foul of the extreme weather.
The owners of the damaged vehicles have been told that they must repair the damage to their vehicles through their own insurance, as Shropshire council is not liable due to the weather conditions.
A spokeswoman for Springcare said: “We are certainly lucky that it happened at 4.30pm and not at five o’clock when everybody would have been leaving.”
