Guy Jumps from Garbage Truck Without Brakes Damaging 15 Cars
The brakes of a garbage truck on a busy road in Russia failed. Dashcam video shows a person jumping out of the cab on the go. The video was made a few moments before the truck hit 15 cars in a traffic jam. The truck flew to the side of the road and hit a gas pipeline.

Someone is fired. Was he able to steer it? Could have steered it into that ditch/hill thing where the truck eventually ended up. And jumped out right before. Possibly avoiding hitting less vehicles. Lucky sob the truck didn’t injure or kill anyone!  |

to the truck expert drivers here.... what does one do when that incident happen? i mean good engine, big truck, no brakes... what do we need to do to avoid fatal accident?

First chance you get if you can is swerve one direction then the other to roll the vehicle over, one of our guys done that going into Dover in the UK , or if there is a escape route use that.

Thanks. THat one certainly did not enter my mind but it was a sound advice. I was expecting replies more on the engine operations/manipulations or the transmissions. But you gave me one sound reply i do not expect to get. I think it is applicable to me just incase since i always buckle up and my trailblazer is tall enough to be toppled that way. |
