In the Republic of Bashkortostan a 34-year-old man was speeding over the waves on a jet ski. The man from Ufa came to the village of Zelenaya Polyana and decided to ride a jet ski on the surface of Lake Bannoe. He did not have a license to operate the jet ski and at some point, he rammed into a tour boat. He died before the ambulance arrived. No one else was injured.

As he hit the tour boat, the man from Ufa said "OOFA!".

It's traditional in Bushsnortishgabastan for them to greet arriving boats like that. It goes back HUNDREDS of years, when they used to have to PUSH boats together by hand, because they had no jet-skis. All they had was Pole-skis!
