This is the shocking moment a pedestrian has a miracle escape when she is crushed between two parked cars following a high-speed crash in a city street.

Dramatic CCTV footage shows the unnamed woman trying to cross the road between the vehicles when an out-of-control car careers into them.

The impact of the freak crash in Alum Rock, Birmingham, sandwiched the unlucky pedestrian between the wreckage of the parked cars.

Horrified shoppers rushed to the woman's aid expecting her to be dead - but incredibly she survived with only minor injuries.

Another woman and a 10-year-old boy were also injured in the pile-up but are also expected to make a full recovery.
