5 people were injured on Thursday after a Gendarmerie truck skid in downtown Senegal's capital. The events took place on the Allées du Centenaire, the gendarmerie truck skidded, and overturned on three 3 taxis and a private vehicle.

This accident occurred during a simulation exercise of a terrorist attack organized by the Minister of the Interior. The gendarmerie said to regret this painful event through a press release and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured. She also informed of the opening of an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
