I work in a refinery in Canada and this is the last thing I want to experience. Especially when this refinery in this video looks tiny in size compared to the one in.

2 cameras waiting for the explosion? Seems a little odd.

I had a gas explosion too a while ago. I injured my family's impression of me.

Sour gas alarm. (Hydrogen sulfide) I worked in the area (just North of the state line in New Mexico) and alarms sound when there's a leak - everyone evacuates immediately - UPwind from the leak. Knowing there was a leak, it seems natural that some of them knew a fire was a distinct possibility.

back in 1984,my station mate and i began to hear a hissing, then the alarm went off,,mutual aide for a gasline leak in a neighboring district, pete looked at me and said,,,dude, you ready for this shit?..gonna be a good one!..i just looked at him n smiled,we roll out of the station and all we can see is a huge flame in the sky,we were on the stations ramp still and behind a ridge, pete stops the engine ,looks at me n says.....well fuck me..this might be it...lol...it is a cool feeling to be driving into hell while others flee...but it sorta sucked, when we got to staging..we found out there was no new threats and we were to just standby.......never did anything but watch.....i was bummed......
