Gas Cylinder Explosion in a House Sets Man on Fire
Two people were left trapped after an explosion at a residential home in a Chinese village. Many gas cylinders had been stored inside the building. Video footage shows the owner of the home, surnamed Chen, carrying a gas cylinder back into his home, before a sudden explosion ten minutes later, breaking down the door and shattering windows. Chen ran out of the building, with his clothes on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and carried 42 cylinders out of the building to avoid any further explosions. The firefighters then entered the building and successfully brought the two trapped people to safety. |

The guy must have been some kind of idiot, storing that much propane in a house! I NEVER have propane in the house. I just keep 5 gallon jugs of gasoline everywhere in MY house..........

I hate when they over cook the Chinese. I wonder if they were storing matches and gas in the same tiny building. There is no regulations in China. Why care about safety when there are 1000 more who can replace you.

Even though he's an idiot, I'm glad the dude made it out alive.  I can't imagine how hot that must've been. I mean, when I got to some show that has propane pyrotechnics, you can feel the heat from those blasts from many yards away. That multiplied times a thousand perhaps?  |
