Wrong. Take some physics, bro.

Electric current doesn't "flow." That's an oversimplification for non-sciencey people. What "flows" is the energy of the current, which is passed along from the generator a billion billiard balls hitting each other and passing the "wave" along. The electron excited in the generator does not enter a wire, run down it, and eventually make it to your house. The apparent 1-2 punch you see here is nothing more than interlacing errors with the video due to low-quality sensor and/or processing.
