One of nature's oddities: if they survived, their chances of their being hit by lightning AGAIN are surprisingly much higher than that of being hit in the first place.

That's only the case depending what job or hobby people have. Park rangers and people playing golf f.i. It's not they're attracting lightning or something.

...Except these folks here weren't out doing any of those jobs/hobbies. I agree that can be a factor in being hit generally, but the repeated doses phenomena does kind of seem, kind of creepily I think, to be more related to a person being sought out than by their making a hit more likely per their own actions. Some folks have been hit by a strike from a dozen or more miles away, on their first and/or subsequents.  |
