Fire Pot Performance Goes Not As Planned
During major festivals like the Lunar New Year or National Day, Xianyang hosts traditional fire pot (or huohu) shows.

During the show performers swing metal mesh "pots" filled with burning charcoal and iron filings. As the pots are spun rapidly, they create a spectacular shower of sparks and "fire flowers".
