Re: A Fiery Crash On A Mexican Highway
the netting guy The multiple accident on the Arco Norte highway occurred on the afternoon of September 28th on the Ajoloapan-Pachuca section (between kilometers 115 and 117), specifically on the uphill curve towards Ajoloapan , on the border between the State of Mexico and Hidalgo . Due to the rain and wet pavement, there was an initial rear-end collision between vehicles and a cargo van overturned on the road. A heavy-duty crane passing by was unable to brake in time when it suddenly encountered the accident site and the stopped vehicles. The crane operator lost control and crashed into the guardrails, triggering a pile-up involving several cars , vans, and a livestock trailer. After the crash, the crane began to burn intensely until it was engulfed in flames and overturned on the asphalt. Authorities and emergency services reported a preliminary tally of 5 people with minor injuries , with no fatalities confirmed. Authorities reported the involvement of a total of 9 vehicles in the pileup. |
