The only reason I can think of how a rational person would do what this dim bird did would be panic. When she heard the first crunch, she panicked and hit the gas rather than braking.  |

biker's fault. I've been in this situation and I always move out of the way before the vehicle moves over me. Seriously, who stops on their bike behind a van that HAS to reverse. Blind spot too. Fool.
